At Arthur Murray, our goal is to help you get out on the dance floor as soon as possible. That’s why our dance instruction focuses on teaching you the skills you need for dancing, not just for learning the steps. We believe that dancing should be fun, and we create a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere where you can discover the magic of dance.

It all starts with a complimentary private lesson in one of our New Jersey Dance studios. We’ll talk about your goals-whether social dancing or competitive-and evaluate your skills. Then we’ll customize a program that matches your unique needs and schedule.

All programs include group classes, private lessons, and special dance practice parties. During group lessons, you’ll learn new dances, meet your fellow students, and dance with a variety of partners. In private lessons, you’ll receive personalized instruction in styling and technique. And at our practice parties, you’ll have a chance to have fun and practice what you’ve learned under the supervision of your instructors.
